I hold their wrists with one steady hand,
Fingers encircling pulsating veins,
Blood surges up their arm,
Numbness travels, heart to heart,
Reviving every fiber of my soul.
Neck arched, I meet their bleeding gaze,
Wide pupils, alien now,
Skyward I look, body still,
Muscles clenched, their heat buffeting my neck.
My grip tightens, skin liquifies,
Precipitating on theirs.
